The Beginning

We are officially up to speed on the new way to communicate in the year 2008. With family and friends scattered across the country we decided to write a blog to update everyone on the changes and happenings in our life. This way you can choose to check back whenever you would like or subscribe to the blog to be notified when we make changes.

As all of you know by now, Anna Mary Suro was born on April 26th, 2008, which was one day shy of the day we met 7 years ago. Both mom and baby are doing great as the third week just passed by. Anna has already had visits from the three sets of grandparents in that time frame and she has even ventured out to a restaurant for a Friday night dinner just short of her two week birthday (other parent's call us nuts, but we like to refer to it as adventurous). The wedding this upcoming weekend will be the big test in patience and understanding. I am back to work and getting used to the canned response for the question of "So are you getting any sleep?" Mandy is enjoying her time off until the end of August and I would suggest that no one asks her the same question stated above.

In all reality, I think we have both been pleasantly surprised to how quickly we have adapted our lifestyle to Anna's schedule. The next hurdle to clear will be when Mandy goes back to school on August 20th. Don't be surprised if you see a drop in the amount of blog postings at that point!
