Bethany Beach, Delaware Vacation

We just got back from an incredible week of vacation in Bethany Beach, Delaware with our good friends Bill and Terri Fuchs and their daughter Emma. We had seven days of the best weather of the summer where we took advantage of the beach, pool, golfing, and shopping that was abundantly available in the immediate area. After some intense games of Mexican Train, 3 gallons of Dolly's caramel popcorn, 2 boxes of salt water taffy, too many other desserts, and some beer and wine to wash it all down, we are all wishing we didn't have to head back to work!

With the crazy summer of having a new addition added to our family, adapting to life with Anna, weddings to attend, family coming down to visit, us going to visit family, me completing my MBA and traveling for work, Mandy, Anna, and I really haven't had much time as a family to sit back and relax. This week was not only well deserved, but the best time we have had together yet. We are already looking forward to our family beach vacation next year with my side of the family!

Alright....how many women just got really mad at me? It's my turn to blog, so I thought I would send a shock through the nervous system. This is not Anna, rather a picture I found on the Internet that I thought was hilarious! Please don't call child welfare services on me!

Anna on the left and Emma on the right wondering what all this beach talk has been about.

Honestly...have you ever seen a baby smile so much! Anna loved the beach!

Dad giving Anna a taste of the Delaware Beach. If this picture had audio it would have Mom shouting, "ERIC...BE CAREFUL....okay, that's enough." That phrase was used often during the week.

Anna passed out in her own personal sun shade

Mom and Anna posing in the neighborhood pool.

Dad and daughter pool time.

Common occurrence around 2:30pm each day. (Not seen: Mom's doing the same thing, Dad's knocking back some beers)

How can I really comment on this beautiful picture, but to say that this will be on my office desk soon!

Anna meets Great Grandpa Gene. Mandy's grandfather lives about 10 miles from where our beach house was, so we were able to spend some valuable time at the end of our vacation letting them get to know each other. Thanks for lunch Gene!

Too cute to comment...

We forgot to post these after we took these last month!
