Anna's First Christmas

Our whirlwind Christmas week was full of happy memories! Although Anna was going through a rough patch (four teeth coming in, new houses, getting over a cold, and getting adapted to a new schedule) she was still a trouper and had a wonderful Christmas with the family. Thank you so much to all our family for making our little girl's first Christmas so special. She loved all her gifts......but most of all loved wrapping paper and bows!! Here are some holiday pictures. Enjoy!

Getting tired!!! Thanks everyone for all my presents!!!

Hanging out with my cousins!

My First Thanksgiving!!

Great Photographer and some home pictures

Sorry that we haven't posted for a little while. The holiday season has gotten a little crazy and we have been trying get back up to speed. I am sure we will have some time to update over the Christmas break and provide some pictures of Anna's first Christmas. Below are some pictures that we had taken at our house by a photographer that is a parent at Mandy's school. The photographer did a remarkable job, so if you are ever looking for a great experience let us know and we will pass along the contact information if you can't already read it in the photo's.

Many of you probably already recognized the above as our holiday card model!

No joking around...she smiled for 2 hours like this during the shoot. Dad was thinking $$$ and Pamper's commercials. Anybody have any contacts???

Taking in between set changes while laying on our bed. Caught the moment.

I think she already has the yearbook title wrapped up for "Best Eyes".

And now some amateur photo's. On a recent trip to town by Papa (Mandy's Dad...Tom), Tom showed me a great little trick of balancing Anna on my hand. Remember Mandy scolding me on vacation about getting too close to the water with Anna...just think about the havoc that has taken place since Tom came to town!!! The below picture has become an almost everyday occurrence and Anna loves every minute of it as you can tell in the picture. Do I hear Cheerleading scholarships??? Maybe at UD, as Anna poses below for her entry essay. She is not too sure about YouDee yet though...we will work on that.

Not only does the kid smile for the camera and rarely cry, she sleeps pretty good too. Here she is snuggling with one of her favorite dolls.

We will try and update again before the holiday's, but if we don't get to it we hope everyone has a safe and Happy Holiday!
Love...Eric, Mandy, Anna, and Sadie

Swim Lessons

Our Water Baby!
Bound and determined to get her swimming career started early, we enrolled Anna in her first swim class. Not to our surprise, she absolutely loved the water, kicking, giggling and splashing for the entire half hour. Daddy joined her in the pool last week (and yes even attempted to join in during London Bridge, Ring around the Rosie and the Wheels on the Bus)....this week it was Mommy's turn!

Splash, splash, splash!

Our future swimmer...

She loves the water!

It Won't Be Like This For Long

On the right hand side of our blog we've attached a song by Darius Rucker. Eric played this song for me while driving and soon the tears began to flow. It is amazing how fast everything is flying by. Everyone keeps saying that the days are long and the years are short, but for us the days seem to fly by as well. We have been so blessed with our wonderful daughter. She is constantly giggling, smiling and making us so happy. Even today, with a stuffy nose and a fever she smiles and never complains. We are trying to soak up every minute with her, because we know it won't be like this for long. We cherish the memories we have made and look forward to seeing her grow in the future. If you have children please take a minute to listen to this song...it's a tear jerker!

Sept & Oct Pictures

We haven't posted any updates in a little while, so we wanted to add some pictures of the last few weeks. Don't forget to check back after Haloween as we will have some great pics I am sure!

Anna Showing off her digs

Anna and Sadie (Although Sadie won't make eye contact and is extremely jealous...we know they love each other!)

Sadie giving in to her new friend!

Matching Eyes...and hair!

Anna's new favorite toy. She works off those thunder thighs each and every day.

Enjoying the jumper once again

Another favorite of Anna's is the tunnel. Too tight a space for anyone else, but we have all tried...yes, including Sadie.

We can't keep this kid off the bottle...even the beer bottle!

She loves the bath too! Is there anything this kid doesn't love!

Wrapped up with mom after bath time

Dressed and ready for her first party!

I hope you enjoyed. Check back soon!
